Refunds, Cancellations & Makeups Policy

  • If we can’t match you with an instructor, you won’t be charged.
  • Once our office has contacted you via e-mail or phone, your lesson package is considered matched.  Once your lesson package is matched, there is a $50 cancellation fee to cancel any scheduled lessons.
  • Canceling 14 days or less before the first lesson results in a 75% refund.
  • No refunds are provided after the semester starts or for missed classes.
  • In the event of weather cancellations, we will try to reschedule the lesson for the same week or weekend.
  • Makeups are for emergencies only (with a $30 fee) and are valid for one year from the initial match date. Schedule conflicts do not qualify for makeups. Makeups cannot be rescheduled.
  • For illness makeups, a doctor’s note is required and a $30 fee will be applied to your account or you can choose to forfeit the lesson. If a lesson is canceled for medical reasons without proper notice, that lesson time will be forfeited.
  •  Reschedules are not allowed for individuals in group lessons unless the entire group decides to reschedule the lesson. If an individual misses a group lesson, they forfeit that lesson.
  • Cancellations Due to Weather - Lessons may be rescheduled if canceled due to inclement weather (cold and rainy, lightning, or dangerous/extremely inclement weather). A high temperature is not considered a valid reason to cancel due to weather. Please contact your instructor at least three hours before the lesson starts if you need to cancel due to the weather.
  • Cancellation by Kidtastics - A full refund will only be given if classes are cancelled by Kidtastics.  However, we reserve the right to cancel the swimming lessons without a refund if the swimmer is extremely disorderly, inappropriate, and/or creates a risk of harm to himself or herself or others. Inappropriate conduct includes, but is not limited to the following: biting, scratching, spitting, excessive crying, and yelling. If a lesson is canceled due to the inappropriate conduct of the swimmer, the remaining lessons will be forfeited.
