The Stroke Technique program runs every Monday and Wednesday, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, offering a consistent and convenient schedule for busy families.

1How do I register for the swim clinics?
Complete the online registration form. Kidtastics will contact you to confirm your selection.
2What policies do I need to be aware of?
Please have your children prepared to enter the water ten minutes before their scheduled start time. The instructors will be starting the class at the posted start time. Parents, please be aware that we require there be no distractions from you, the parent, animals, siblings, friends, neighbors, etc… to guarantee your child receives the best swim lesson possible. Apply sunscreen at least 10 minutes before the lesson begins.
3How old does my child need to be for stroke development and swim team prep classes?
At least 5 years old
4What's the difference between Swim Team Prep & Stroke Development?
Both programs are teaching the same skill set, the difference is where the location of the clinic is and how many days the clinic runs. In both cases, instructors will be instructing from inside and outside of the water.

Swim Team Prep is a 8-day program that we offer based on demand in different locations throughout the Phoenix Valley year-round.

Stroke Development is offered only at the McDowell Mountain Ranch Community Pool and Park located at 10607 E Paradise Lane, Scottsdale, AZ 85255 in the summer. The clinic is a monthly commitment.
5What kind of things will my child be learning in their lessons?
Kidtastics' Stroke Technique program focuses on improving children's stroke technique, swim form, breath control, and endurance. They will also work on flip turns and prepare the children for the swim team if your child wishes to take their skills to a local swim club. Children do need to already have a swimming background as this is not for beginners.
6Are the prices that are listed per lesson?
The price listed for our the swim clinics are either for the 8 day program or the 4 day program.
7Are there make up days for classes missed?
No refunds are given for missed classes. The only make up days we have are for weather related cancellations or if a cancellations was made by Kidtastics staff. No refunds are given for missed classes. If a class is cancelled due to weather conditions then a make-up class will be arranged. A full refund will only be given if classes are cancelled by Kidtastics.
8What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancellation by an individual will result in a 75% refund until 7 days prior to the first session; at which time no refund is available. No refunds are given after the clinic starts. No refunds are given for missed classes. If a class is cancelled due to weather conditions then a make-up class will be arranged. A full refund will only be given if classes are canceled by Kidtastics. Classes do not meet on holidays, please discuss with your instructor about any possible holidays.
9What is the required attire?
Children should wear swimsuits and sunscreen. Students can bring goggles for some of the strokes. If your child has flippers please bring those as well. We recommend the following pairs:

10Are classes held on holidays?
Classes do not meet on holidays, please discuss with your instructor about any possible holidays.
11Do you take photos or videos of my child during swim class?
Yes, Kidtastics will occasionally take photos/ videos of your child for promotional reasons. But mainly, we take them to send to the parents for your memories. Your consent is required on our enrollment form.
